Shedeur Sanders will get an extended opportunity to cement himself as the Cleveland Browns’ starting quarterback for 2026.
Sanders had the best performance of his young career on Sunday. He threw for 364 yards and three touchdowns to go along with 29 rushing yards and a rushing score in a 31-29 loss to the Tennessee Titans.
An early holiday gift has come for the Sanders family. More specifically, Shedeur Sanders’ excellent outing on Sunday has ended any potential remaining quarterback controversy in Cleveland.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski announced that Sanders will be the Browns’ starting QB for the rest of the 2025 season.
Cleveland’s remaining four games are: at Chicago Bears, vs. Buffalo Bills, vs. Pittsburgh Steelers and at Cincinnati
