HAMILTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- A retired New Jersey elementary school teacher who performs as Santa has been arrested on child pornography charges.

Mark Paulino, 64, of Hamilton Township, Mercer County, was arrested on Friday afternoon.

The investigation began Thursday night when investigators found that a township resident had allegedly uploaded multiple files of child sex abuse material to the internet.

Paulino was identified as the suspect, and the prosecutor's office said investigators learned from Paulino's own website that he recently retired from the Hamilton Township School District as an elementary school teacher.

The website also showed that Paulino performed as a Santa character available for photographs and private, corporate and organizational events, prosecutors said.
