Alison Steadman on filming 'emotional' Gavin and Stacey finale

Alison Steadman, renowned for her role as Pam Shipman in the BBC sitcom Gavin and Stacey, has shared her favourite scene from the show.

The 79-year-old actress featured in all 22 episodes across three series and three Christmas specials but one particular moment had her in fits of laughter.

In a conversation with Reach, Alison revealed: "I think one of my favourite episodes is when Adrian Scarborough and Julia Davis renew their vows as Pete and Dawn."

She fondly recalled being off-camera during the church scene, unable to contain her laughter, describing it as "I remember being in the church when they were doing that and crying laughing when I wasn't on camera. It one of the funniest and brilliantly written scenes ever
