The Loveland Downtown District has announced the launch of Downtown Discovery, a new winter promotion designed to encourage community members and visitors to support locally owned businesses in downtown Loveland.

The promotion runs through Jan.31.

More than 50 participating downtown businesses will hand out Downtown Discovery Cards when a customer makes a purchase. Each Discovery Card includes three different deals to other participating businesses, and customers may select one to redeem, according to a news release.

When shoppers redeem a Discovery Card at a participating business, they will receive another card featuring a new set of deals, encouraging continued exploration, return visits, and discovery of businesses they may not have visited before.
