ALVATON, Ky. (WSMV) - Fire crews in Southern Kentucky rescued a driver after their vehicle was pinned under a semi-truck in a weekend crash.
The wreck happened Saturday morning at about 9:30 on Interstate 65 North near mile marker 26, per the Alvaton Volunteer Fire Department .
Photos posted by the fire department show the vehicle’s entire cab pinned beneath a semi-truck, with its glass windows folded and crushed and its metal exterior mangled.
“Firefighters assisted with patient care and vehicle stabilization,” a post from AFD said.
Further details on the driver’s condition or the nature of the wreck were not immediately available.
