EUGENE, Ore. - A Lane County Parole and Probation officer has recommended prison time for former Home Improvement star Zachery Ty Bryan. This recommendation stems from a domestic violence case in Eugene dating back to 2023.

Probation officer Valarie Truelove highlighted Bryan's repeated probation violations, including multiple arrests and prohibited contacts with the victim. Notably, Bryan has been under the influence of alcohol during these incidents.

Truelove said Bryan's latest arrest marked his fifth in 26 months of his 36-month supervision period. Three of these arrests were for driving under the influence, with two occurring out of state. Bryan, who was restricted from leaving California, was also arrested for allegedly assaulting the same victim in South Carolina earlier this year
