Officers with Patrol Services have charged a 57-year-old Sault Ste. Marie man after an unusual assault involving a snow blower on Second Line West.

Police say they received a report around 9 a.m. on Sunday regarding an incident that occurred the previous afternoon in the 100 block of Second Line West.

According to investigators, Christopher Wright got into an argument with someone known to him before allegedly using a snow blower to intentionally blast the victim with snow.

No physical injuries were reported.

Officers located and arrested Wright.

He has been charged with assault and released on an undertaking. He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 9.
