It is a shocking total and a shocking number of incidents of tire slashings. Incidents that the North Bay Police Service is saying it has, “no identifiable suspects.”

Police says they are currently investigating 24 tire slashing cases dating back over five years, with the majority (10) of them occurring over the last six months.

The smallest number of tires slashed in one of these incidents is seven, the highest is 700.

The North Bay Police Service called a news conference on Monday for an update on the ‘Tire Slasher’ investigation. Right it has many more questions than answers.

In a release distributed a the news conference, all the incidents, save one, (Powassan) have occurred in North Bay. The one our of town incident is being investigated by the OPP.
