A winter storm watch was released by the National Weather Service on Monday at 12:57 p.m. valid from Wednesday 4 a.m. until Thursday 7 a.m. for Oswego, Jefferson and Lewis counties.
The weather service says, "Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 7 inches or more possible, especially across higher terrain."
"Travel could be very difficult with snow covered roads and poor visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes," adds the weather service. "Begin needed preparations at home or with your vehicle. Travel may become difficult, so plan accordingly."
