BARCLAYS CENTER — The Young Lawyers Section, a dedicated group within the Brooklyn Bar Association (BBA) focusing on supporting younger attorneys, came out to support yet another Kings County institution at the lawyers’ most recent meeting on Dec. 4: the Brooklyn Nets.

The purpose of the Barclays Center gathering was to build camaraderie and connect outside of the more typical work environment, Angie Khawly, Esq., Young Lawyers Section chair, told the Brooklyn Eagle.

“Instead of always being in court, a boardroom or at a CLE, I figured something like a casual basketball event would allow us to bond in a different way,” Khawly explained.
