PHOENIX (AZFamily) — For yet another year, the East Valley is highly featured as one of the most “Caring Cities in America,” according to a newly updated WalletHub report.
Just in time for the holiday season, the personal finance website conducted research into what it called “38 key indicators of a compassionate spirit” and ranked 100 cities accordingly.
The report found Scottsdale ranked at No. 3, “in part because its residents demonstrate great care for children in need,” researchers said. In particular, it noted that the affluent East Valley suburb had the fourth-highest adoption rate and detailed that it had the sixth-lowest child poverty rate.
