KINGSTREE, S.C. (WCSC) — The Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office has charged a man following a shooting at a vape store Sunday.

Kanye Delvin Tisdale, 21, is charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Police responded to a reported shooting at Smokers Town Vape Store at the 1300 block of North Longstreet Street.

Police Chief Kimberly Marlow said Tisdale fired multiple gunshots at the victim, striking him several times. The victim fired back, but did not injure him. They were sent to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

In recent violence across the county, particularly among young men, the Williamsburg County School District released a statement regarding increased law enforcement presence at Kingstree High School.
