A van caught fire on Highway 101 near the top of the Cuesta Grade on Monday, slowing northbound traffic.
It happened just before 11 a.m.
According to CAL FIRE SLO, the van was engulfed in flames that also spread to a small patch of vegetation.
The #2 and #3 lanes of northbound Highway 101 were closed through the area. The #2 lane has since reopened.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver of the van was able to get out of the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
