Srinagar, Dec 8: The Meteorological Department on Monday said that they were expecting light snowfall is likely over the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir from December 13, while shallow to moderate fog is expected to persist across the Valley in the coming days.

Director MeT department, Dr Mukhtar Ahmad, told Rising Kashmur that weather on December 9, the department predicted partly to generally cloudy skies across the region.

“From December 10 to 12, the forecast suggests partly cloudy weather with no significant precipitation expected. However, a brief change in the pattern is likely between December 13 and 15,” he said.
