The Chattanooga Area Food Bank is much more than a food distribution center. It’s the people who put their hearts into their work, who love helping others in need and assure them someone is always there to help.

Rene Allen at the Foxwood warehouse loves her clients. She greets them with a warm smile and is able to ease the fears of those who come to her for the first time. She said she loves meeting her customers, learning their stories and learning their history.

Elizabeth Smith is a customer and says once she got there, it was comfortable. She says they made her feel welcome. Now she tells others they shouldn’t hesitate to ask for help.
