Allen Park — Christian Mahogany is inching closer to getting back on the field.
Mahogany, who's started eight games at left guard for the Detroit Lions to begin the season, hasn't played since Nov. 2, when he broke a bone in his left leg during a loss to the Minnesota Vikings . Lions coach Dan Campbell said Monday the team will "try to get him some work this week." Mahogany landed on injured reserve Nov. 5. He's missed more than four games, making him eligible to have his 21-day practice window opened at any point.
