ALLEN PARK -- Christian Mahogany is in a position to return to potentially practice for the Detroit Lions this week.

Dan Campbell wants to take it easy with the starting left guard. But the Lions coach hopes to work Mahogany back into practice and get him doing more. Mahogany has been out since suffering a broken bone in his leg in the first game after the bye in Week 9.

“We’ll probably try to get him some work this week,” Campbell said on Monday. “I don’t know a lot of it’s going to be, what does he look like this week? And honestly, I don’t expect a lot right now this week, you know, but I do think he’s starting to feel good enough to work him into practice.”
