GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - The College Football Playoff field has been set, but not without some controversy, and that controversy surrounds Miami and Alabama getting in, with Notre Dame and the ACC Champion being left out. But why should anyone be surprised at controversy? Heck, when a 68-team field is announced for basketball, what do we always talk about...The teams that are left out and the ones that should have gotten in. Bottom line, there is no magic formula, this is done by human beings serving on a committee. My only hope is that someday we can have a system for inclusion that everyone can understand but don’t hold your breath on that one!
