Trey Hendrickson’s frustrating and forgettable 2025 season is over.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Trey Hendrickson is undergoing core muscle surgery, which will sideline him for six weeks. So, barring a completely improbable run in January, the four-time Pro Bowler is done for the season.
Hendrickson has been sidelined since Week 9 with an undisclosed injury. Before he was sidelined, Hendrickson had four sacks and one forced fumble in seven games, per Pro Football Reference.
Currently in his contract year, Hendrickson was widely mentioned as a hot trade candidate before the deadline. The Bengals reportedly sought a first-round pick for their star edge rusher, but nothing came together.
