MANCHESTER, N.H. —

A man from Connecticut will stay in jail after a fatal crash Friday in Newport.

Dylan Galland, 49, is charged with negligent homicide and aggravated DWI.

He is accused of driving drunk and crossing over the center line on Maple Street . He then allegedly hit a car going in the other direction head-on, causing it to roll over.

Ashley Wendt, 25, died at the scene of the crash.

Galland is being held until a probable cause hearing later this month.
