CARROLLTON — The Carrollton R-7 School District will accept candidacy declarations from anyone interested in running for a position on the school board in the April 7, 2026 election.

There are three positions available with three-year terms.

Anyone interested may file at the superintendent’s office located at the Administration Building, 103 E. 9th Street in Carrollton. Beginning Tuesday the office will be open for filing weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Dec. 19. The office will also be open for filing from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31.

Filing will not occur on days that the school district’s offices are closed due to inclement weather.
