Another Canadian Clipper system is building to the north and has plans to bring the Upper Midwest a mixture of strong winds, rain and snow Tuesday night through Wednesday morning.

A winter Storm Watch has been issued for several of our western counties, including Cerro Gordo, for Tuesday night to noon Wednesday. This area is not expected to see much if any new snow, however, powerful winds with gusts of 50+ MPH will be possible during this time. The National Weather Service is warning of possible blizzard conditions, thus prompting the watch.

Our northern most counties are will be going under a Winter Weather Advisory due to the snow, mix, and ice potential coming from this storm. The Advisory will go into effect starting Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning. A general 1-4" of sno
