Southwest winds will increase through the night, with sustained winds 15-25 mph and gusts 25-40 mph expected.
As a cold front passes, the winds will gradually shift to the west early Wednesday and then become northwest by afternoon. The strongest winds are expected between midnight and noon, and some gusts over 40 mph are possible.
Unsecured outdoor decorations and items may become displaced by the gusty winds.
After the frontal passage, very cold conditions will make a brief stay across the Quad State
Sunday. Morning lows will be in the teens, while wind chills will be in the single digits.
Highs will likely not escape the 20s.
