WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Snow showers will move in later this afternoon and evening.
A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Jefferson and Lewis Counties from 4 AM Wednesday until 1 PM on Thursday, as snow accumulation will range from around 4 inches to over a foot. The highest accumulation will be on the Tug Hill and along the St. Lawrence River.
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for St. Lawrence County from 7 AM Wednesday until 7 AM Thursday for snow accumulation between 4 and 8 inches.
Lake effect snow showers will be ongoing overnight tonight, north of Watertown along the St. Lawrence River, where a couple of inches of snow is possible overnight. Otherwise, accumulating snow will be ongoing throughout the day on Wednesday before slowly tapering off overnight into Thur
