GLIDE, Ore. – A 30-year-old Roseburg man died in a single-vehicle crash on Thursday evening near Glide, according to the Oregon State Police.

OSP officials said that they responded at 11:13 p.m. on Dec. 4 to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 138 East near milepost 12. Police determined that an eastbound Chrysler 200, driven by Domonik Randsome Wright, left the roadway for unknown reasons, became airborne, landed in a field, and rolled before bursting into flames, state police officials said. OSP said that Wright was declared deceased at the scene.

The highway was not impacted during the on-scene investigation, police said. The Glide Volunteer Fire Department and Douglas County Sheriff’s Office assisted OSP at the scene.
