The UK is bracing itself for a bout of extreme weather, with flood warnings in place as heavy rain and strong winds are set to sweep across the country. The Met Office has forecasted that Storm Bram will bring flooding and travel chaos in some areas from the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Some regions could see up to 100mm of rainfall , leading to high flood alerts being issued across several counties. Alongside the torrential rain, parts of the UK are also expected to be hit by gale-force winds of up to 85mph, reports the Mirror .
