PINE BLUFF, Ark. — Pine Bluff police have now arrested a man who was reportedly shot after he was seen rummaging through a woman's vehicle on Sunday.

According to reports, at about 11:00 a.m. on December 7, officers with the Pine Bluff Police Department (PBPD) were sent to the 2000 block of West 24th Avenue with reports of a man who had been shot.

Once they arrived at the scene, officers spoke to a resident who said she had seen an unknown man inside her vehicle.

When she went outside to confront the man, later identified as 23-year-old Dekoda Hill, she found that her .380 caliber pistol had been taken from the driver’s door.

Reports say that the resident demanded the return of her gun, and during the argument, two shots were fired, striking Hill in the left neck and shoulder area.
