The arrest of controversial OnlyFans model Bonnie Blue last week in Bali has shone a light on the dangers faced by sex workers who regularly traipse across international borders.
Police in Bali have yet to release additional information following the arrest last Friday of Blue — real name Tia Billinger — and 17 male tourists, as well as 15 Australians, who have since been released on suspicion of breaching Indonesia’s strict anti-pornography law.
If prosecuted and found guilty under the law, Blue faces up to 15 years imprisonment in Indonesia and fines up to about $541,000.
Authorities seized several items including professional video cameras, contraceptives
