Jack McKeon and Baron Dworzanski each scored a goal in St. Peter’s Prep’s 3-2 loss to Notre Dame (CT) at the Rink at the American Dream in East Rutherford.
Notre Dame held a 1-0 lead after the first period before McKeon tied it up on the power play with assists from Shamus Batcha and Aidan McHugh.
Dworzanski‘s goal in the second period gave St. Peter’s Prep a 2-1 lead before Notre Dame tied it up 2-2 on the power play heading into the third period.
Notre Dame (1-0) scored the game-winning goal in the third period.
Dustin Wolckenhauer had a stellar performance between the pipes with 30 saves on 33 shots for St. Peter’s Prep (0-1).
