American and Japanese officials gathered in Pearl Harbor on Monday as commemorations of the anniversary of the Dec. 7, 1941, attack continued.
On Ford Island, at a spot overlooking the USS Arizona Memorial, visiting dignitaries from Japan and local officials came together to reflect on “the day that will live in infamy,” as well as all that came after.
