Police forces are initiating a UK-wide enforcement campaign, with motorists facing the prospect of having their vehicles "seized on the spot." The Police Service of Northern Ireland has kicked off a national drive aimed at tracking down uninsured motorists to safeguard all those using the roads.
NI Road Policing and Safety announced: "From today (10 Nov) until 16th Nov, we are running 'Operation Drive Insured'. You'll see roads policing activity focusing on detecting and seizing uninsured vehicles being driven illegally.
"The aim is to reduce the number of people killed or seriously injured on our roads. So far this year, we've seized 1,461 vehicles for being driven with no insuranc
