It has been over a week since Partizan and the decorated tactician officially parted ways following Obradovic ’s resignation, yet the topic remains one of the main talking points in European basketball circles.
Bogdanovic shared his thoughts during the “ EuroLeague & Friends: Going Globa l” podcast with Deniz Aksoy and Kyle Hines.
“ It was a big surprise for me. But Zeljko is an experienced man, and I believe in his decision — I think he made the best choice at that moment, not only for himself but also for the team. He is very emotionally connected to Partizan. I’m very sad that he made that decision, but he is very experienced and surely knows why he did it. I’m sad that I won’t see him on the sidelines finishing the season. But it is what it is, ” Bogdanovic said.
