Weather forecasters have updated a warning for the North East. The yellow warning issued for wind has been altered as Storm Bram arrived on UK shores.
On Tuesday, the storm brought heavy rain, flooding and strong gusts to Ireland, Scotland and western parts of the UK. However, its impact was also expected to reach the North East during the day and heading into Wednesday.
There were two yellow warnings for the North East - one for rain, the other for wind. However, one has now been updated by the Met Office. All the latest weather news is being covered by ChronicleLive here.
