INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis college institution is preparing to close its doors soon.
On Tuesday, Dec. 9, Martin University announced it will be pausing its operations at the end of 2025 .
The Martin University Board of Trustees made the decision to cut university operations at the end of the current semester due to "financial and student enrollment challenges," according to the university's release.
“Martin University’s primary focus has always been on providing its students with an outstanding education and hiring the most qualified and talented faculty and staff possible,” said Board of Trustees Chairman Joseph Perkins. “A primary need of Martin’s is for more community support.
