LITCHFIELD PARK, AZ (AZFamily) — President Donald Trump on Monday announced a $12 billion Farm Aid package to help farmers offset losses tied to tariffs and the trade war.

But some Arizona ranchers say the money largely misses the cost of livestock operations and arrives too late for families already forced off the land.

The Trump administration said $11 billion of the package will go to row-crop farmers and $1 billion to specialty crops. The funding comes from tariff proceeds, and the one-time payments are expected to be paid out by the end of February, officials said.
