People's favorite sponge and his friends are now footwear.

Fans of the beloved cartoon "SpongeBob SquarePants" will soon have a chance to wear the character in croc form, with the clog shoe brand dropping a nautical collaboration later this week.

It features elements honoring characters SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star, and Squidward Tentacles. The collaboration comes as other companies take up a SpongeBob-centric theme and the brand prepares for "The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants," set to release Dec. 19.

If you're saying, "I'm ready!" to the Crocs collaboration, here's what you need to know about securing a pair.

When do the crocs drop?

According to the Crocs website, all three shoes are "estimated to be available Dec. 11." Crocs confirmed to USA TODAY that the Dec. 11 date allows fans to grab some clogs before the movie premieres next week.

Spongebob, Patrick clogs are being restocked; Squidward clog is new

There are three versions of the shoes — the SpongeBob Squidward Classic Clog, the SpongeBob Patrick Classic Clog and the SpongeBob Classic Clog. The Patrick and SpongeBob clogs are restocks of designs that sold out in 2024.

The Patrick clog is simpler, decked out in the bright pink color of Patrick's skin along with character-themed Jibbitz charms, including the starfish's rock house, a jar of mayonnaise, a bottle of sunscreen, and a mini Patrick. The insole of the croc has two faces — a drooling Patrick face on the left shoe and a happy Patrick face on the right.

The SpongeBob crocs are a mix of both previous shoes, with mini arms resembling the sponge on each foot. The bright yellow shoes also don green spots reminiscent of the ones on SpongeBob's body, and have faces on the insoles as well, with SpongeBob smiling on the left foot and smirking on the right.

Meanwhile, the Squidward clog is brand new.

The Squidward clog features the character Squidward's face on each shoe and is the olive-green color of his body, with the strap at the back of the shoe decorated in blue and black with boat anchors.

The official Crocs Instagram account also teased the new shoes, specifically adding in a post's caption that the Squidward crocs are "launching 12/11."

How much are the Crocs?

The shoes are listed as $79.99 each on the Crocs website. Consumers can currently select their shoe size for their preferred Crocs and join a waitlist for when the shoes are available.
