PORTLAND, Ore. — A pair of atmospheric rivers targeting the Pacific Northwest is causing some major flooding in multiple rivers in northern Oregon and southern Washington.
Total rainfall amounts in lower elevations across northwest Oregon and southwest Washington could see four to seven inches. Higher terrain in the Cascades and the North Oregon Coast Range could see double those amounts.
Multiple rivers are flooding in Oregon and Washington, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration . Most of the region is under Flood Warning or Watch.
