Over the last two weeks, much of the college football conversation has centered on Lane Kiffin, who left his 11-1 Ole Miss Rebels team—on its way to the College Football Playoff—to accept the head coaching position at LSU.
Kiffin agreed to a seven-year, $91 million contract, which includes a stipulation that would make him the highest-paid coach in the sport if he leads LSU to a national championship.
He has faced significant backlash for the move and some of the ways he handled it. However, on Monday, he received praise for allowing four current LSU assistants to rejoin the Ole Miss staff for their CFP run.
