LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - North Central Park is set to transform into a holiday-themed attraction Tuesday night during the 11th annual “Light the Way for Christmas” celebration at 10202 International Boulevard.

The event runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., with the tree lighting scheduled for 6:45 p.m.

Families can enjoy performances by school choirs, dance groups and bands, along with vendors, train rides, and appearances by Santa and the Grinch, who will arrive aboard the Christmas Trolley.

Organizers will also offer free hot chocolate and Christmas cookies while supplies last.
