PARMA, Ohio (WOIO) - A suspect is on the run after Parma police say he led officers on a chase and later crashed into a party center.

Police say just before 6 p.m. on Dec. 2, an officer witnessed the driver of an Audi cut off another vehicle at a stoplight.

The Audi also had an expired license plate.

The officer tried to make a traffic stop, but police say the driver sped away instead, leading to a pursuit.

According to police, the chase continued with the suspect reaching speeds of 75 MPH and failing to follow several stop signs.

The officer terminated the pursuit on Snow Road due to road conditions and increased traffic.

However, police say officers soon learned the Audi had crashed into a wall at the LaVilla Party Center on Brookpark Road.
