(NEXSTAR) — Powerball players were once again outsmarted on Monday after no ticket matched the winning numbers drawn for the seventh-largest jackpot in game history. The only ticket to get close to winning the grand prize was sold in Florida.
The numbers drawn Monday night were 8, 32, 52, 56, 64, and red ball 23. The Power Play was 2X.
Unlike Saturday's drawing, which produced multiple second-tier winners, only the ticket sold in Florida matched enough numbers to garner a $1 million prize. Had the ticketholder opted into the optional Power Play, they could have doubled their payout to $2 million.
