Police are investigating after a dog reportedly attacked a man and his dog in Oldham . The incident occurred on Duchess Street, in Shaw , at around 8pm on Saturday evening (December 6).
A man was walking his dog when it was attacked by what is believed to have been a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.
The man suffered two 'puncture wounds' on his hand for which he required hospital treatment, including a tetanus jab, the force said in a post on their Oldham district Facebook page.
The post includes a CCTV image, with the force saying they would like to speak to the owners of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who they say were wearing 'all black.'
"They are believed to be a regular customer in the business outlets on Duchess Street" they added.
