Funding helping rural transit agencies replace some vehicles

RICHMOND, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Two area rural transit services are among nearly a dozen across Virginia to receive funding to replace some of their vehicles.

The Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation was awarded more than $8.6 million through the Federal Transit Administration 5339(b) Buses and Bus Facilities Program.
