The number of measles cases in Spartanburg County since an outbreak began in October has surpassed 100.
In an update on Dec. 9, the South Carolina Department of Public Health announced 27 new cases ― the largest number of infections reported at a given time by state officials.
The number of cases in the Spartanburg County measles outbreak stands at 111. There have been 114 infections reported to DPH in South Carolina during 2025.
