WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS W.Va. (WVDN) – On Monday, December 8, the White Sulphur Springs City Council met in regular session.
After the opening pledge, the minutes from the last meeting were approved.
A financial report was given. Among the information the council released was that the books showed a balance of $137,809.95, with expenditures being $184,470.77. That makes the difference $46,660.82.
A year-to-date total was $832,642.56, with expenditures being 1,130,492.88. Making the difference $297,850.32.
The city’s water account fared better as it showed a balance of $101,710.04 with expenditures of $64,882.05. This left no negative balance. The sewer fund year-to-date had $491,178.34. With $529,657.56 in expenditures. That left a deficit of $38,479.22.
