Philip Rivers played for the Indianapolis Colts the last time they made the AFC playoffs.

Will Rivers, celebrating his 44th birthday Monday, Dec. 8, return to guide a desperate team in search of a playoff berth?

NFL Network is reporting that the Colts will bring in Rivers to potentially suit up in the wake of Daniel Jones' season-ending injury and Riley Leonard's knee issue that leaves him uncertain for Week 15 against the Seattle Seahawks .

Rivers led the Colts to the 2020 playoffs in his one season in Indianapolis, completing 68% of his passes for 4,169 yards, 24 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
