One person is dead and two others injured as the result of three separate fires in Maine communities on Monday, December 9, 2025.

In Windsor, Lorraine, Knox, 77, is believed to have died in a fire at her home. Remains found at the scene have been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to confirm identity and determine cause of death.

Crews responded to the scene just before 6 p.m. on Monday, at 489 Ridge Road in Windsor, and found the deceased female in the buildling.
