LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - A registered sex offender in Laredo was arrested on indecency charges after police found him with a 13-year-old girl at a city park in April.

33-year-old Juan Jesus Hinojosa was served with arrest warrants on November 28, charging him with two counts of indecency with a child by exposure.

The case began on April 7, 2024, when a Laredo police officer noticed a suspicious white Chevrolet Malibu at Canizales Park at about 10:35 a.m. The registered owner of the car was Hinojosa, an active registered sex offender.

A male and a female then got out of the car and walked to the park. The officer approached the pair and identified the male as Hinojosa and the female as a 13-year-old girl.
