Gyms around Region 9 are about to heat up.

The Dixie boys played three basketball games to start the season and won all of them. Pine View is off to a 4-1 start and Hurricane is 4-2. Desert Hills is 4-3.

Crimson Cliffs is next with a 3-3 record and Snow Canyon is 2-3. Cedar is off to a 2-4 mark in the campaign.

You can throw out all the records when Region 9 rivalry games tip off. Coaches say that any team can win on any given night in arguably the state’s most competitive region.
