BEDFORD — The White River Humane Society is inviting the community to help brighten the shelter this season through its annual “Deck the Halls” fundraiser, a campaign that directly supports homeless pets in Lawrence County.

For a $20 donation, supporters can sponsor a colorful ornament that will be hung inside the shelter, each one symbolizing hope, care, and the community’s commitment to animals awaiting adoption. Ornaments may also be dedicated in honor of a loved one — human or furry.

Every contribution provides immediate support for food, medical care, and daily shelter needs. As a donation-driven organization, WRHS relies heavily on public generosity to continue its lifesaving mission year-round.
